Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) was created by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in 2001 in order to serve as the Host Broadcasting organisation for all Olympic Games, Olympic Winter Games and Youth Olympic Games. Description
Ahead of our Paris 2024 operations, at OBS we are looking for profiles that will help us meet the needs of our Production department, which is the department that focuses on live coverage of the Games for broadcast and digital use as well as non-live features and highlights production, providing a huge range of content to rightsholders.

PSC Camera Operators:
Be part of a camera crew responsible for filming features around the city and the Games
Bring your creativity and camera skills to ensure the content is visually inspiring, appropriately framed and focused, well lit, with good audio and in line with OBS’ technical specifications
Work on your own or with a producer and student assistant for features filming


Outside Broadcast Camera Operators:
Operate a camera during the live broadcast coverage according to the instructions of and assignment by the director
Assist in the rigging and de­rigging of cameras in the venue
We are looking for operators with experience with any of the following cameras: hard, long lens, handheld, robotic, and jib


Features and Promos Producer
Bring your creativity and ideas to our team making short form content to complement and supplement the live coverage of the Games
Work as part of a content creation team, under the leadership of our senior producers, to create interesting, emotive, fun or visually exciting features and promos
Work with a range of camera operators and student assistants to shoot material around the venues and city as needed
Research stories and source images from archive, stills libraries, or Games coverage to produce features highlighting the stories of the Games
Work with a range of video editors to produce crafted finished pieces for use by broadcast, digital and social teams of international rightsholders


Reporter/Interviewer
Use your journalistic skills in our team interviewing athletes and researching stories around the Games
Use your experience in voiceover to voice an English language script on shortform highlights and feature content
No in-vision reporting or interviewing required
Fluent English required


Avid Editor
Bring your creativity and editing skills to the Olympic Games
Using Avid Media Composer, create visually inspiring content, with appropriate video and audio levels and in line with OBS’ technical specifications
Work closely with associate producers in creating features, highlights or promotional content
Follow the workflows established by OBS to ensure all edited content is appropriately named, logged and stored for later access
Other responsibilities as required


EVS Operator
Be part of the live broadcast team in venues, identifying and clipping content for replays, highlights and melt reels
Or work in the International Broadcast Centre, monitoring incoming feeds, identifying and clipping content from these feeds to be distributed to Rightsholders for digital and social media use


Vision Operator
Working as part of a production team in venues, producing live coverage of the Games
Responsible for the technical operations, exposure and matching of multiple cameras in the OB van
