We are now looking for a Senior Media Relations Officer that is part of FIFA and supports us on our mission.
These are your key tasks:
- Leading global media relations directly in relation to all FIFA activities;
- Identifying opportunities to showcase FIFA's leading role as a modern, dynamic, and trustworthy sports organisation;
- Leading prompt and efficient responses to all media enquiries, often to tight deadlines;
- Collaborating closely with corporate communications and content teams to ensure a consistent approach;
- Providing uniformity in key account management;
- Providing ongoing support of the FIFA Media Hub and developing centralised materials as per media relations instructions to inform and assist media;
- Taking ownership and responsibility for all responses and content published on FIFA Media social media accounts;
- In relation to FIFA Tournaments and Events, defining and establishing a consistent approach to media relations with Media Operations & Services;
- Liaising closely with the corporate communications team on overall media release policy and leading all additional media engagement in relation to speeches, publications and/or other activities in a timely manner;
- Defining and establishing agreed procedures with the content team in relation to the management and update of FIFA channels;
- Liaising closely with the corporate communications team to support them in communicating on various topics relevant to the specific stakeholder;
