The job:

Based in Sydney, the BTOC Team Leader manages a team of 5 broadcast engineers and up to 10 MCR Operators to deliver broadcast and video transmission services for local, regional and global customers.

The BTOC Team Leader will oversee day-to-day team operations, rosters, training and team development whilst ensuring the team delivers a first-class service for customers.

The BTOC Team Leader will take responsibility for identifying and driving improvements in procedures and operations and act as a Change Leader for platform and workflow updates.

We’re looking for:

A track record of leading teams.
Hands-on broadcast operations background.
Knowledge of broadcast and TX workflows.
Operational understanding of IT / fibre networking, & storage.
Enthusiasm to drive a team to new heights.
Comfortable dealing with customers.
Excellent all-round communication skills.

The BTOC Team Leader will need to keep one eye on the big picture strategy whilst enjoying getting down into the detail of operations and be willing to roll up their sleeves and jump on the tools when necessary.
