Christmas Mass and Urbi et Orbi
24-25 December 203, The Vatican

The Vatican has announced Pope Francis' schedule for Christmas and the following 12 days of Epiphany, an important period for Christians. The Pope will preside over a Christmas eve "mass at night" at St Peter's Basilica. On 25 December, he will deliver his traditional "Urbi et Orbi" ("to the city and to the world") blessing from the balcony to pilgrims gathered on St Peter's Square. In an interview with Mexican broadcaster Televisa's N+, the 87-year old pontiff said he was in better health and that he had "no plans to resign." He signaled his intentions in 2024 to travel to Belgium, and his hopes to visit Polynesia and his native Argentina.

On behalf of Vatican Media, Eurovision News Events is distributing those two events via fiber at the US Switch and via satellite over the Americas and Europe. We are also supporting and coordinating the distribution of the signals over Africa and Asia. To receive the parameters for the signal, please book your participation.

To enhance your coverage, we are offering live stand-up positions available from our Eurovision Italy rooftop, with a view of St Peter's Basilica.
