The elections the European Parliament, every five years, will take place from June 6 to 10, at the Brussels headquarters of the European Parliament.

The formation of the new Parliament in early summer following election results is just the beginning of a much larger transformation: the selection of the EU's new leadership. Through a series of possibly contentious hearings, Parliament will nominate a new Commission president and confirm her or his team of Commissioners.
