Activists on social media platforms have called for a global general strike next Monday in solidarity with the people of Gaza. The activists stated that they initiated a campaign to push for a worldwide general strike aimed at pressuring governments to take serious action to halt the Israeli war on Gaza.

A significant number of activists and influencers engaged with the hashtag #StrikeForGaza or #إضراب_من_أجل_غزة, which went viral on social media platforms.

The campaigners believe that halting life's movement and the economic wheel in all countries might contribute to stopping the war.
