TÜRKIYE-SYRIA EARTHQUAKE ANNIVERSARY
On February 6, 2023, southern and central Türkiye and western Syria were struck by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake, followed by a 7.7 magnitude quake nine hours later. This disaster resulted in widespread destruction and a tragic loss of 59,259 lives.
