At least 157 people were killed and hundreds injured as rescuers searched mountain villages after a strong earthquake of 6.4-magnitude earthquake hit Nepal. Both Nepal Army and Nepal Police personnel have been mobilized to carry out rescue works. Landslides triggered by the tremor and its aftershocks obstructed certain trails for the rescuers.
