EU Justice and Home Affairs ministers will meet in Brussels, on Thursday 28th September, to discuss the current asylum crisis in the European Union.

During the meeting, ministers will receive an update about ongoing legislative discussions to modernise EU asylum legislation and ministers will exchange views about the external dimension of migration.

EU ministers and ministers from 14 Latin American countries will discuss cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking and transnational organised crime.
