G77 + China Summit
Havana, Cuba | September 14-17, 2023
Leaders of the G77 group of developing countries and China will meet in Cuba September 15-16.
China says it is not officially a member of a group that now comprises over 130 member countries, but it supports its aspirations.
UN General Secretary Antonio Guterres is also scheduled to attend the summit in Havana; he will focus on getting the 2030 U.N. development goals back on track, including ending extreme poverty and hunger, ensuring every child has a quality secondary education and achieving gender equality.

HAVANA, CUBA
A summit of heads of state and government with the theme "Current Development Challenges: Role of Science, Technology, and Innovation" will be held on September 15 and 16, 2023, in Havana, according to a call made by Miguel Daz-Canel, President of the Republic of Cuba and President Pro Tempore of the G-77 + China Group.
