The military junta in Gabon have announced Raymond Ndong Sima as the new prime minister for the country. Raymond Ndong Sima worked with the Ali Bongo government but later became a critic of the regime. With his appointment the international community is hopeful the Gabon Junta will commit to its pledge to transition back to a civilian government.
