50 people died and over 350 more were injured after a passenger train hit the derailed coaches of Coromandel Express in Odisha's Balasore district. At least 8 coaches of Coromandel Express were derailed after the superfast train collided with goods train in the Bahanaga area of Balasore today evening. Many passengers are feared injured following the mishap. Rescue operations have been initiated on a war footing by the local authorities, police, and railways.
