Cuban President Expected To Be Reelected
Havana, Cuba | April 19, 2023

The new members of the Popular National Assembly will be inaugurated on Wednesday when they are also expected to vote for the reelection of President Diaz-Canel for a second and last mandate.

The first non-Castro president in more than 60 years will face an equally challenging second mandate as shortages, blackouts and mass migration under a continued blockade by the U.S are not expected to go away .
