On Monday, the State of South Sudan is organizing a workshop to evaluate and correct the peace agreement concluded between the Government of Sudan and the Revolutionary Front organizations in Juba more than two years ago.
The workshop comes in parallel to a conference held earlier this month in Khartoum by the Sudanese parties that signed the framework agreement to assess the Juba peace agreement in the context of the final stage of the political process, at the end of which a civil government will be formed.
It is expected that the President of the Sudanese Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and the President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit, will participate in the conclusion of the workshop, which is expected to come out with a technical report to be presented to the parties to the government in Khartoum, along with the movements and organizations that signed the Juba Peace Agreement.
In practice, the participating Sudanese delegations from the military component and peace movements arrived in Juba to participate in the workshop
