The 73rd Berlin International Film Festival will start on February 16th with a grand opening.
Eurovision News Events will broadcast LIVE the opening ceremony and Awards ceremony.
The opening ceremony will take place on Thursday, 16 February 2023
Opening speeches will be held by the Federal Minister of State for Culture and the Media, Claudia Roth, and the Governing Mayor of Berlin, Franziska Giffey. Executive Director Mariette Rissenbeek and Artistic Director Carlo Chatrian, together with Jury President Kristen Stewart will open the festival.
The Award Ceremony will take place on Saturday, 25 February 2023.
