Thousands of the Sudan Call Initiative group, which includes political and civil forces, most of whom participated in the regime of ousted Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir, demonstrated in front of the United Nations headquarters on Saturday to denounce the upcoming political agreement that the Forces of Freedom and Change (Central Council) are working on with the military component mediated by America, Britain, Saudi Arabia and the UAE Next to the tripartite mechanism of the United Nations, the African Union and IGAD.
The demonstrators chanted slogans describing the Forces of Freedom and Change (Central Council) as working for the West, and demanded the country's independence and non-interference in the affairs of Sudan.
Immediately after the demonstrations were announced, the Popular Congress Party shook its hand from participating in the demonstration led by the good Sufi cleric, the grandfather, while a group within the Popular Congress announced its participation in it alongside Islamic currents.
The demonstrations come with a revolutionary escalation, announced by some forces of the revolution, by closing the main roads in the capital, Khartoum, on Saturday
Observers fear that Sudan will slide into chaos in light of the demonstrations and counter-demonstrations and the widening circle of rejection of the expected political settlement.
