The Sudanese are holding their breath as the first anniversary of the measures taken by the Sudanese army by overthrowing the government of Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok and ending the power partnership with the Forces of Freedom and Change (Central Council)
Where the forces of the street announced that they will go out in millions of demonstrations tomorrow, Tuesday, in the city of Khartoum and other Sudanese cities, to demand the overthrow of the regime and the realization of their aspirations for civil rule and democratic transformation.
The importance of the step comes in being a watershed with regard to the political settlement that has made strides during the last period through indirect dialogues between the forces of the Central Council and the military component, mediated by the United States, Britain, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, in addition to the mediation of the tripartite mechanism of the United Nations, the African Union and the IGAD.
It is expected that the demonstrations will determine the fate of the negotiation, as it will represent a challenge to the forces of the Central Council that will enable it to seize the reins of negotiation and demand greater concessions than before, or vice versa if it fails to achieve a greater mobilization.
Observers fear that Tuesday's demonstrations will take a turn that will put Sudan in a real crisis, especially in light of the rejection of large sectors inside and outside the forces of the street, freedom and change, and the Central Council for Settlement in an attempt to find an equation different from what was decreed
