Buckingham Palace says Queen Elizabeth II, Britain's longest-reigning monarch and a rock of stability across much of a turbulent century, has died. She was 96.

The Associated Press offers live stand-up positions outside Buckingham Palace as part of the official international media deployment plan. Additional locations will become operational in the coming days.
