One Touch Media
On Tuesday, the Sudanese Foreign Ministry summoned the Ethiopian ambassador in Khartoum, Petal Amiru, to protest against statements in which the Ethiopian ambassador confirmed that his government had shot down a plane loaded with weapons, which was on its way to the anti-Agrarian Front of Addis Ababa, which crossed the airspace of Sudan before it was shot down.
The Sudanese Foreign Ministry considered these allegations a violation of the institutional and diplomatic traditions of communicating with the official authorities in the country of representation
The Ethiopian ambassador held a press conference on Monday in Khartoum and hinted at a crisis in relations with Khartoum.
In practice, the statements of the Ethiopian ambassador were not new, as the Ethiopian army had previously announced them, and at that time the Sudanese government remained silent and did not issue any statement to deny or confirm the step, especially since the accusations came after a meeting between the President of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and the Ethiopian Prime Minister Abi Ahmed, during which they agreed to bypass Disagreements and demarcation of the borders of the two countries to put an end to the disputes over the disputed areas between the two countries
