The forces of the Sudanese street decided to postpone the call for the general strike scheduled for Wednesday to a later time and to declare a state of maximum emergency to help those affected by the torrential rains that hit six Sudanese states and led to the death and injury of about a hundred people, as well as the complete destruction of thousands of homes and the displacement of families in the open without shelter.
The resistance committees in the state of Khartoum said in a statement that they are calling for the popular mobilization to provide relief to those affected by torrential rains, as it is a duty of struggle, and stressed that they will coordinate their efforts with the actors to deliver relief to areas of distress.
