Daunte Wright Funeral

The funeral of Daunte Wright will be held this Thursday in Minneapolis, with the eulogy being delivered by the Rev. Al Sharpton and with family members of George Floyd in attendance.

Wright died last Sunday after a police officer in a Minneapolis suburb shot him with a handgun at a traffic stop. The officer resigned from her position and has been charged with second-degree manslaughter.

The funeral service comes only two days after ex-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was convicted of murdering George Floyd.
