UK Border Trouble DOVER, UNITED KINGDOM Due to border restrictions imposed by France on arrivals from the UK, there is severe disruption to freight transport. Access to ferry terminals and the Eurotunnel is causing substantial queues of lorries unable to cross the English Channel. The restrictions follow the UK’s announcement of a new variant of COVID-19 and will be in place for 48 hours.
