At least one person is confirmed dead and serious injuries are certain as emergency services respond to a train incident near Stonehaven in Scotland. Ambulances and a medical helicopter have been deployed. Details of the accident remain unclear as it appears the cause was a landslip related to the recent floods and torrential rains. Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon declared the derailment of the passenger train “an extremely serious incident”.
