ANNIVERSARY OF MILITARY COUP ATTEMPT

Turkey will mark the fourth anniversary of the failed coup attempt that took place on 15 July 2016 in Turkey. More than 250 people were killed and over 2,000 wounded as the result of the coup overnight.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will lay a wreath at the 15 July Martyrs Monument as well as attend a commemoration in parliament.
