CHINESE PRESIDENT XI VISITS GREECE
ATHENS, GREECE | 10-12 NOVEMBER 2019

Chinese President Xi Jinping pays a state visit to Greece on 10-12 November at the invitation of Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos.

Xi is expected to lay a wreath at the Tomb of Unknown Soldier in Athens, hold talks with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis at the Presidential Palace and visit the Acropolis Museum.

The president will also tour the Port of Piraeus, the largest container handler in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. Greece and China have expanded cooperation in shipping in recent years.
