On September 1, 1939, the Nazi German forces invaded Poland, changing the course of history as the world plunged into a global war. Commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II will take place in Warsaw, on Piłsudski Square where the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is located.
