Julian Assange, the WikiLeaks cofounder has been arrested by officers from the Metropolitan Police Service in London after Ecuador withdraws asylum and evicts him from the Ecuadoran Embassy in London where he has lived for almost seven years. The warrant was issued by Westminster Magistrates Court in 2012, for failing to surrender to the court.
