On Wednesday Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak will sign a deal for the supply of a system that is to be the basis of the country’s Wisła mid-range air defence programme. During the first phase of the program two Patriot batteries will be delivered in 2022. The operational readiness is scheduled for 2023.

The maximum value of the contract was defined as USD 10.5 billion. The week before the offset deals worth nearly EUR 225m were signed.
