Kuwait hosts a forthcoming conference involving chief lawmakers from the Gulf region will be instrumental in restoring normalcy amid an ongoing rift,
The Kuwait-hosted conference that brings together parliament speakers from the Gulf region on January 8-9 will be the third major event to have taken place in the country, coming off a recent Gulf summit and the ongoing Arabian Gulf Cup football tournament, to which Al-Ghanim described as a “good omen.”
He cited His Highness the Amir’s earnest desire to have the conference happen in Kuwait, saying it was met with unanimous agreement.
