British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson has arrived in Ankara on Sunday for a two day visit in order to show his solidarity with Turkey after the July 15 coup attempt. He will hold meetings with Turkish officials, as well as hold talks with non-governmental organizations and representatives of the Syrian opposition.
During his visit, Johnson said that Turkey is a vital partner to the United Kingdom, and emphasized that he was pleased to visit Turkey for the first time as the Foreign Secretary.
