Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier will meet the members of “The Elders", the Former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, the former Finnish President Martti Ahtisaari and the former United Nations Envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi at the Federal Foreign Office Guest House in Berlin-Tegel.

The Topics will be the situation in Syria, eastern Ukraine, Iran and the Middle East peace process and the international cooperation on migration.

The Elders, which was founded in 2007 by Nelson Mandela, is an independent group of global leaders who work together for peace and human rights.
