Three people died in eastern Belgium on Sunday night after a passenger train they were travelling in collided with the back of a freight train at high speed.
Belgian media are reporting that more than 40 people were injured in the accident that occurred in eastern Liege province at Hermalle-sous-Huy, near the Meuse River.
