The verdict in the trial of 94-year-old former Auschwitz guard Reinhold Hanning is expected to be handed down in Detmold. Hanning is accused of expediting, or at least facilitating, the slaughter in his capacity as a guard at the camp where 1.2 million people, most of them Jews, were killed.
