Paris, France, 12 December 2015

The final draw of the EURO 2016 tournament will be held at the Palais des Congres in Paris, France, on 12 December 2015.

The 24 teams which will participate in the EURO 2016 will be drawn into six groups of four teams each.

The finals will start on Friday 10 June 2016 and culminate with the final a month later, 10 July, at the Stade de France in Paris.

There will be nine other venues in Bordeaux, Lens, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Paris, St-Etienne, and Toulouse. As hosts, France qualify automatically for the first 24-team final tournament.

France hosted the inaugural tournament in 1960 as well as the finals in 1984.

Final tournament draw - Paris, 12 December 2015

There will be four pots for the draw:
Pot 1: five teams to include Spain, as the reigning European champions, if they qualify

France are not included in the pots as they are automatically assigned as team A1.

The teams will be drawn into six groups of four teams each (Groups A to F), with the top two in each plus the four best third-placed sides to advance to the knockout phase.
