COSTA DO SAUIPE RESORT, BAHIA, BRAZIL | 3-7 DEC 2013

FIFA selected the northeastern resort of Costa do Sauipe in Bahia as the location for the World Cup draw.

The 32-team final draw is scheduled to take place December 6th.

AP Global Media Services, in cooperation with NewSource Globo, are providing broadcast facilities in Brazil to assist in your FIFA World Cup™ coverage.

COSTA DO SAUIPE:
The feed point for the World Cup Final Draw will be located in Costa do Sauipe Resort, in Bahia.

The stand-up positions and the workspace will be located outside the security perimeter and are available to both rights and non-rights holders.
Backdrop will be exotic palm trees and the building where the draw will take place
(the structure is still being built.)

The venue is located approximately one hour and a half from the Salvador International airport (code: SSA). A shuttle service will be provided between the airport and Costa do Sauipe during the week of the draw.

Costa do Sauipe, Brazil, December 4th - 7th, 2013

The picturesque tourist resort of Costa do Sauipe in the state of Bahia will play host to the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ Final Draw on December 6th. Thirty-two teams along with football fans around the world will anxiously await the results of the draw taking place at 1600 GMT. Eurovision Special Events will offer extensive facilities for non-rights holders at this important event leading up to the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™.

The following teams have already qualified: Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Brazil, Cameroon, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cote d'Ivoire, Croatia, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Honduras, Iran, Italy, Japan, Korea Republic, Mexico, Netherlands, Nigeria, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Switzerland and the USA.

Eurovision Special Events is providing transmission facilities for all broadcasters, including non-rights holders, outside the draw venue, including:

Standup position for Live programme inserts from inside the Costa do Sauipe resort
Playout (P2, XDcam, DVCPRO, DVCAM, other formats possible with members own player, camera)
Connectivity to the Eurovision Global Network

Eurovision will be operational from December 3rd.
