Football team KAA Gent have appointed Victor Fernandez as head coach until the end of this season. The 52-year-old Spanish trainer won the Spanish Cup and UEFA Cup Winners' Cup with Real Zaragoza. He also coached CD Tenerife, RC Celta de Vigo, Real Betis Balompié and was José Mourinho's successor at FC Porto.

On Saturday 12th January Victor Fernandez will be presented, by his new team, to the press in Belgium.
