Eurasia Media Network Looking for Regional Correspondents, Freelance Reporters / Contributor and Opinion Writers. Are you a talented and ambitious journalist who wants to report on stories that matter from different regions and perspectives? Do you have a knack for finding and telling compelling stories that inform, engage and inspire audiences? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the reporter position at Eurasia Media Network (EMN).

EMN is a global media organization that provides news, analysis and commentary on current affairs, politics, culture, business and sports from Eurasia and beyond. We are looking for reporters, and correspondents in Asia Pacific, Europe, America, Latin America, Middle East and throughout the world.

As a Regional Correspondent, Freelance Reporter/Contributor, Video Reporters for EMN, you will be responsible for:

Pitching, researching and writing original and timely stories that reflect the diversity and complexity of your region
Conducting interviews with sources, experts and stakeholders in your region
Producing multimedia content such as photos, videos and podcasts to accompany your stories
Following the news agenda and trends in your region and identifying opportunities for coverage
Ensuring that your stories adhere to the highest standards of journalism ethics, accuracy and quality
Collaborating with editors and other reporters to ensure coherence and consistency of coverage

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

A bachelor’s degree or higher in journalism, communication, international relations or a related field
At least two years of experience as a reporter in a reputable media outlet, preferably covering your region of interest
Excellent writing, reporting and communication skills in English and at least one other language relevant to your region
A keen interest in and knowledge of the current affairs, history and culture of your region
A willingness to travel within your region and occasionally to other regions or the head office
