Job Summary : The successful candidate will have a proven track record in covering major political stories - on all platforms - and will understand the nuances of strong storytelling. He or she will be overseeing talk-shows production and running orders, directing producers, liaising with presenters and talking a lead role on all aspects of production, including the booking of guests and video editing (if recorded). Candidates must understand the power of visual storytelling both on air and online, and the importance of social media as an integral part of news gathering and reporting. They will thrive in a fast-moving newsroom, know how to react to breaking news and will be full of ideas to create compelling content. |
