C-COM to showcase its new Ka-band inMotion terminal at IBC
Ottawa, August 2016: [Source: C-COM Satellite Systems] Production units for C-COM’s next generation Ka-band SOTM (Satcom-On-The-Move) antenna is expected in Q1 2017. A Ku-band offering is also likely to be completed and in production at the same time. Price points should be exceptional and the antenna should have all required approvals in place early next year. Both units will use Standard Bandwidth.
C-COM will also display the very popular iNetVu® FLY-75V Flyaway system. The FLY-75V is both Viasat and Eutelsat approved for use on their respective Ka-band networks in the US and Europe.
We will also be showing off one of our newest vehicle mounts, the Ku-band iNetVu® 1202 Drive-Away Antenna. Field upgradeable to Ka-band, this sleek and robust solution is capable of simultaneous 3-axis movement and supports up to 100W Redundant BUC directly on feed arm. Available with or without a Pod, this unit has already proven to be extremely popular.
Both antennas works seamlessly with the iNetVu® 7710 Controller equipped with the latest search algorithms to provide class leading Cross-Pol performance. Acquisition is within minutes, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE.
Be sure to stop by C-COM’s booth 4.C53 at IBC.
