The Channel was officially launched in Egypt in November 2015 although previously Al Ghad had been on the air from its London studios. It is headed by the well-known Egyptian journalist, author and former Head of Egypt’s News Centre, Abdel Latif el-Menawy. Like most Arab news channels, Al Ghad is available free to air on Nilesat and Hotbird satellites and on their on-line site at alghad.tv

The channel has a network of bureaux across the world including the US, UAE, the Palestinian Territories and Beirut. Behind the studios, Al Ghad has employed some of the latest technologies and leading suppliers.

ENEX’s Managing Director, Adrian Wells said, ”We now have two hugely well-resourced Arabic language channels as part of ENEX which reflects the huge importance of the Middle East region in global news. We’re delighted to have Al Ghad on board as our membership climbs towards 60.”
