VATICAN CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS

ROME, ITALY

Pope Francis will celebrate Christmas Eve Mass and deliver his ‘Urbi et Orbi’ Christmas message. The Pontiff will preside over the traditional Christmas Eve mass in Saint Peter's Basilica on December 24. At midday on Christmas day Pope Francis will deliver his Urbi et Orbi message (Latin for "to the city and to the world") from the central Loggia of the Vatican Basilica. Tens of thousands of people are expected to gather in Saint Peter's Square to hear the Pope’s Christmas day message.
