EU leaders are to hold an informal summit on illegal migration and security in Vienna. The summit is agreed upon Austrian Chancellor Sebestian Kurz invitation who holds temporary presidency of Council of Europe. Austrian government is known with its strong stand against the migration.

EU heads of state or government will gather in Salzburg, Austria for an informal meeting. The summit will be hosted by Sebastian Kurz, Chancellor of Austria, which currently holds the Presidency of the Council. The President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, will chair the meeting. He will represent the EU together with the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker.
