POPE FRANCIS VISIT TO CHILE
SANTIAGO, CHILE
JANUARY 15TH - 19TH, 2018
Pope Francis will make an Apostolic Journey to Chile in January, 2018. The Pope will visit Chile from 15 to 18 January, followed by a visit to Peru. The visit by Pope Francis will highlight the plight of the indigenous people with a trip to Temuco, the southern Chilean region claimed by the Mapuche group as ancestral territory. Pope Francis will also visit a women’s detention center for the first time in Santiago.
EUROVISION Special Events will offer the following facilities onsite
• Standup positions from the main press center in Santiago
• Playout with members own player/ camera
• Open plan, non-equipped workspaces with wifi, power, pool signal and access to Vatican TV material. Dedicated internet is also possible
• Connectivity to the Eurovision Global Network
*Accreditation is required to access the workspace and live positions.
