52ND INTERNATIONAL PARIS AIR SHOW 2017

The 2017 Paris Air Show (Salon International de l'Aeronautique et de l'Espace de Paris Le Bourget) will take place from June 19th to June 25th 2017. The world's largest air show, the bi yearly event attracts aerospace professionals and industry insiders to Le Bourget Airport near Paris. The show will be open to the general public from 8.30am to 6pm from June 23rd to June 25th.

Organised by the SIAE, a subsidiary of GIFAS, (the French Aerospace Industries Association), it has 2,300 international exhibitors, 150,000 trade visitors, 30 national pavilions and almost 300 official delegations. The Paris Air Show is still the biggest show of its kind and a must-attend event for all professionals working in the aeronautics and space sectors. The world's calenendar-oldest air show it was first held in Grand Palais near the Champs Elysees in 1909. The show was moved to Le Bourget Airport in 1953. During the late 1960s and early 1970s, the show emerged as a powerful international rival to the Farnborough Airshow in the United Kingdom.

Show organisers started marketing the show in March, and within just a few months all the exhibition spaces in the 6 halls and almost all the 330 business chalets have been booked by exhibitors from the world over.
