CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL
MILANO, ITALY
28 MAY 2016

The UEFA Champions League final on 28 May will be a Madrid derby played in Milan: Atletico Madrid versus Real Madrid.

The two leading Spanish teams will face each other at the so called football-temple of Italy, San Siro Stadium. The arena was recently refurbished and has more than 80 000 seats.

The game will be a rematch of the 2014 Champions League final, when Real Madrid won 4–1 on extra time. The 2014 victory secured the Spanish team a record 10th title in the competition, 12 years after their ninth victory.
The final has been held in Milano 3 other times, in 1965, 1970 and 2001.
