The 25th African Union Summit will be taking place in South Africa in June. The summit theme is “Year of Women Empowerment and Development towards Africa’s Agenda 2063”.
The meeting will culminate on the 14th and 15th June with the 25th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the Heads of State and Government. Prior to this, the different AU organs and decision-making bodies will be meeting.
The vision of the African Union is that of “An integrated, prosperous and peaceful Africa, driven by its own citizens and representing a dynamic force in global arena”.
