The Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a visit to Turkey on December 1 that was due in October. Putin will co-chair 5th meeting of the Turkey-Russia High Level Cooperation Council with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. 10 Russian ministers will accompany President Putin in his Turkey visit. Obstacles on the way to $35 billion trade volume between Turkey and Russia will be removed while ways to raise mutual trade volume to $100 billion by 2020 will be discussed in the meetings. Cooperation in the fields of economy and energy will be brought on the agenda. Moreover, solution to the problem in the export of fresh fruits and vegetables from Turkey to Russia will be discussed during the visit.
