The 6th edition of the largest business event in Central Europe will take place in Katowice between May 7-9, 2014.

It will be exactly ten years after the greatest enlargement of the European Union has taken place in the history of the Community. Ten states, including countries of Central Europe and the Baltic Republics, accessed the European Union in 2004.
A summary of that period will constitute the topic of public debate during the European Economic Congress 2014.

The European Economic Congress is a three-day series of debates and meetings with the participation of six thousand guests from Poland and other European countries. Each year, several hundred panelists take part in nearly one hundred sessions and the Congress is attended by EU Commissioners, Prime Ministers of European states and representatives of the Polish government.

The programme of the 6th EEC will include sessions on such fields of economy and public life as: finance, energy and fuels, mining and metallurgy, self-government and regional policy, infrastructure, transport and logistics, construction and property.
