Voters in the United Kingdom will cast their ballots in the European elections on 22 May.
Britain's EU membership and relationship with Europe is a controversial topic with many in the UK. Latest polls indicate the anti-Europe UK Independence Party (UKIP) is likely to register a large protest vote. Britain's Conservative Prime Minister, David Cameron, has pledged an "in or out" referendum on EU membership should he win the 2015 UK general election.
Other EU nations get the chance to vote for members of the European Parliament between 22 - 25 May.
