The Field Support Engineer role offers an exciting mix of operational and technical support responsibilities. As an operator, you will be responsible for the deployment and operation of our News Production (“SNG”) Vehicles in the support of both daily newsgathering and major event coverage. As a field-focused support engineer, you will support news crews by providing the expertise, preventative maintenance and fault resolution to ensure smooth operation and minimal service disruption across our field and connectivity equipment. This would include cameras, broadcast comms, laptop editing, cellular bonding and wallboxes. You will also work closely with Location Engineering Managers in the planning and delivery of major Outside Broadcast events. |
